MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international inroads into the Latin pop mainstream. The 2016 smash Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album peaked at the rank of 8 in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 led him to join Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. The following calendar year Dopamina came out as his sophomore album. In 2021, he sang a duet for TINI's hit single Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo has an instrumental background. Both his parents and brother are also musicians. According to Turizo, music was a mandatory element of his existence. As a child he learned to play saxophone guitar ukulele and piano.
