Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. From her teens the singer has been a participant in pop music and flamenco. Her music also strays into different genres such as hip-hop soul and Trap. Pepe Habichuela is a flamenco guitarist with a lot of talent, describes her voice by saying it is sweet, with a traditional bit. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough topping Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami, her third album included songwriting collaborations with Cory Henry and James Blake. The release came in March 2022 following an appearance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo artist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami was the sole female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times and also three Latin Grammy Awards.
